“I recently had Jason from MB Heating and Plumbing visit to provide an estimate for installing a Moen automatic shut-off valve. During the estimate, I asked about the cost of flushing my electric water heater. Jason immediately noticed rust on the tank and advised that flushing might not be the best option due to the water heater’s age (10 years), as it could potentially leak or burst at any time.
Thanks to Jason’s careful assessment, he was able to replace the water heater the same day, ensuring my home stayed safe. He also provided valuable advice on maintaining the new tank, recommending flushing twice a year because of the very hard water in my area.
